Antique Sambar Stag Drop Point

It's true that Big Knives = Big Fun, but decades of action outside have proven to me that a small, well-made blade in the hands of a knowledgable user can work wonders. I forged this drop point from a 5160 spring steel John Deere load control shaft, and it measures 2 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind. My extensive heat treat ensures outstanding edge retention that you won't believe possible when met with the ease of resharpening. The brass guard is filed, staked and soldedered in place above black, maroon, white and gray fiber spacers that join a repurposed antique sambar stag handle that's almost 100 years old and still features the original German silver cap. Overall it measures 6 3/4" and it comes in a custom pouch sheath. I guarantee this knife for life.
