Axis Stag & Willow Bow Sheep Drop Point
It's about as good as it gets with this one, folks. Of course we are talking about personal preference, but a 3" blade in the hands of a truly knowledgable outdoorsman is a workhorse when they're made like mind. I forged it from 2" roundbar that was a John Deere load control shaft (5160) and it has been triple heat treated and tempered by way of the Fowler method and it excelled through the pre-finish tests. Manilla rope slices were effortless, no break down in the brass rod edge chip tests and I stabbed as hard as I could into a some pretty dense blocks. We have a banger. The copper guard is soldered in place above black, vintage brick, white, gray and mirrored Willow Bow sheep horn spacers as well as a primo Axis stag handle that comes from Hawaii. Overall length measures 7 5/8" and it comes in my hand-stitched custom pouch with a Cunninghammer zipper case to boot. I guarantee this rig for life- go outside and go nuts with it!
