Crotch Stag Scagel Style Hunter

It's a classic design with a mean personality! This new Bill Scagel inspired Hunter is forged to shape on my Little Giant power hammer from 52100 round bar. It measures 4 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp freehand grind and optimal performance is assured by my 120 heat treat. The brass guard is soldered in place over natural micarta, horsehide leather, brass, black and maroon spacers that join up with an ergonomic crotch stag handle that's pinned through the tang with brass. Overall length measures 9 1/2" and it comes in a custom sheath from Grey Leather Co., certainly in time for Christmas.
