Drop Point Elk Hunter

This beastly new Cunningham Custom Shop Drop Point is forged to shape out of 52100 ball bearing steel and it measures 4 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind and a finger choke ricasso. The steel is triple cycled that makes for a guaranteed hard-user. The brass guard is soldered in place over black, maroon, white, and slate fiber spacers as well as a Roosevelt elk spike handle that's pinned through the tang with brass and features an elk ivory set in the butt. The overall length measures a little over 9" and it comes in one of my sturdy custom hand stitched pouch sheaths. This was part of a match pair for a local and his hunting partner- the antler and ivories were from one of their yesteryear kills. I love making special knives for sentiments like these, and tend to give them just a little extra love. If you have old memorable antlers, let's do something with them!
