Graphite Black Micarta CuMai Clip Point
This latest Cunninghammer is something I have wanted to make for a long time coming. Copper Mai (aka CuMai) is a fusion of five or more layers of steel and copper that are forge-welded into a billet at cautiously critical temperatures. When grinding out the bevel, the copper is exposed leaving a beautiful vein that pops in contrast to the etched 1084 alloy. This first-edition measures 4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind that is met with a copper guard that's soldered in place. Black vulcanized fiber and copper spacers join a graphite infused black micarta handle that's both pinned through the tang and thong-holed with copper. Overall length measures 8 1/2" and it comes guranteed for life in one of my hand stitched pouch sheaths with a Cunninghammer felt lined zipper case. Free shipping?! Heck yeah, that too!
