Hawaiian Axis and Cape Buffalo Drop Point
This handsome little Cunninghammer is forged to shape from 52100 round bar and it measures 3 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind and a finger choke ricasso. The steel has been triple cycled through an already extensive heat treat and it's a proven hard-user, despite a knick near the spine on the non-stamp side. The stamp is also less than perfect, so I've marked down the price from what would have been otherwise but my work is guaranteed all the same. The brass guard is soldered in place over black, vintage brick, white, Cape Buffalo and slate fiber spacers with a delightfully ergonomic Hawaiian axis stag handle. A brass pin runs through the tang and overall length measures 7 3/4". The sheath is hand stitched and sturdy as heck- you, and your kids, and your grand kids, and your great grand kids (and your great great grandkids) will love it!
