Hawaiian Axis Stag & Horsehide Drop Point

I remember visiting the Randall Knives museum in 2016 and being espeically impressed by their display of Bill Scagel's work. I was recently looking at photos of the display and was admiring the flow of his knife profiles. This knife as directly inspired by his work, and I couldn't be more proud of this edition. The blade is forged to shape from 52100 round bar and it measures 4 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind and a finger choke ricasso. The copper guard is soldered in place above black, maroon, white, and slate vulcanized fiber spacers that collar a solid stack of premium horsehide leather. The butt is Axis deer from Hawaii and I pinned it through the tang with copper. Overall length measures 9 3/4" and it comes guaranteed for life in one of my hand-stitched custom pouch sheaths.
