Natural Canvas Micarta Damascus Spey

$325.00Price
  • This sick little side buddy comes from a piece of steel I've been eyeing for months. It was a drop from a larger chef knife and since I hacked up that billet, the shape has reminded me of the Spey blade shape from Case Knives- it's not a perfect replica but the feel is there and I'm sticking to it. The billet is 416 layers of 1095 and 15n20 alloys and it measures 3 1/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind that features a reverse taper- the tip is fat and sturdy so stabs aren't gonna hurt it plus the grind aids in smooth separation when slice cutting. The copper guard is soldered in place above black, vintage brick, white and gray spacers as well as a natural canvas micarta crow's beak handle. The overall length measures a little over 7 1/2" and it comes in a hand stitched leather pouch sheath and a Cunninghammer zipper case. Like all of my work, this kit is guanteed for life.
