Premium Sambar Stag, Brass and Horsehide American Bowie

I know I say this a lot, but this latest Cunningham Custom Shop American Bowie might be the finest knife I have made to date- materials, dimensions, personality and high performance functionality... it's all there. I forged the blade to shape from 52100 round bar and it measures 6" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind and a forced patina blued finish. The brass guard is soldered in place over a Scagel-inspired stack of black, maroon, white and slate vulcanized fiber, brass, and horsehide leather spacers that join perfectly with premium sambar stag. I pinned the handle through the tang and capped with brass in a fashion that plays beautifully with the natural texture of the antler.
