Premium Sambar Stag Damascus Drop Point

This sleek new Cunningham Custom Shop Drop Point was a really fun project. I had a drop of Damascus from a past project on the bench, and I wanted to see what I couldn't forge out of it. The steel is a 416 layer blend of 1095 and 15n20 from Alabama and even with the abnormal hammermarks (no one does that on Damascus...), I was super pleased with this little option. It measures 3 1/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind. A nice 1/4" thick copper guard is soldered in place over black, vintage brick, white, and slate fiber spacers that beautifully meet top notch sambar stag. A copper pin runs through the tang and overall length measures 6 3/4"- a wonderful fit in the hand. This one comes guaranteed for life with one of my hand stitched pouch sheaths.
