The larger chef set measures 7 1/4" from tip to guard and the paring comes in at 3 3/4". The copper guards are soldered in place over black g10 and copper spacers as well as premium spalted Oregon maple wood that's pinned through the tang with copper. Overall lengths measure 12 1/4" and 8 1/2" and these are guaranteed to satisfy.
