The larger chef set measures 7 1/4" from tip to guard and the paring comes in at 3 3/4". The brass guards are soldered in place over black g10 and brass spacers as well as beautiful spalted Oregon maple that's pinned through the tang with brass. Overall lengths measure 12 3/8" and 8 3/8" and these are guaranteed to satisfy. Please be advised that carbon steels sharpen with ease, and they will patina with use- this is a natural beauty and something to love, just like your seasoned cast irons.
