#300: The Arctic Bowie

Jason Fry, a fellow maker I look up and president of the Knifemaker's Guild encouraged me to push hard on certain serial knives- so I went full send on my 300th knife: THE ARCTIC BOWIE. This Cunningham Custom Shop spectacular is loaded with options starting with the Pre-WWII Studebaker leaf spring blade that is forged to shape with a razor sharp convex grind and measures 7 1/4" from tip to guard with a forced patina blued finish. The tall copper guard is soldered in place over black and copper spacers that collar a narwhal tusk primary. The handle is a gorgeous Inuit artifact walrus ivory sled runner and includes a copper pin that runs through the tang. The overall length measures 13 3/4" and it comes in a seal inlaid custom sheath from Grey Leather Co. The front end of the artifact has been made into a handsome stand making sure this is properly showcased on your desk or mantle. Everything from the Cunningham Custom Shop is guaranteed for life in both satisfaction and performance, should you choose to put this one to the test. Very, VERY proud of this one!
