WILD ADORN Boot Knife Special

WILD ADORN is an equestrian facility-turned floriculture farm where mind boggling sculptures are crafted from the flowers and other flora grown on the premises by Charlie Theis. It is on this same property where I rent my shop space and it is a distinct joy to present this original prototype collaboration of our crafts colliding. Charlie creates beautiful floral arrays before casting and curing in resin that are about as hard as a blowing ball at full cure. A rock steady kaleidoscope of nature! The blade is forged by me on my Little Giant power hammer from 52100 round bar and it measures 3 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp double convex grind. The copper guard is soldered place over maroon and copper spacers as well as the aforementioned palette of yellows, oranges, pinks, black and violet notes that expose the inner workings of these flowers. Overall length measures 8 1/4" and I will be crafting a custom wall mount for this first piece (inquiry welcome). Additional floral blocks are already made and waiting to become knives, so stay tuned for more if you miss this one!
