Willow Bow Sheep & Desert Ironwood McKenzie River Fillet

The beautiful McKenzie River flows through the Willamette Valley, running right through the ranch where I get to make my knives. Named for this incredible setting, I forged this gorgeous new McKenzie River Fillet from 1" 52100 steel and it measures 5" from tip to guard with a sensible degree of flexibility. The brass guard is soldered in place above black, maroon, white, and slate fiber spacers that collar and join premium desert ironwood burl with Ed Fowler's Willow Bow sheep horn that's pinned through the tang with brass. The overall length measures 9 1/2" and it comes guaranteed for life in one of my hand stitched leather pouch sheaths.
